Back to school in Zulia: between the precariousness of educational establishments and school dropouts

The October 2021 bulletin published by the Commission for Human Rights of the State of Zulia (Codhez) reports the current context of the right to education in the region, one of the fundamental rights essential for personal, social and human growth, as well as the situation of the rights of women, adolescents and girls.

In this study, Codhez highlights the importance and need to guarantee the right to education of Zulian girls and adolescents, since a girl or adolescent outside the educational system puts her in a position of disadvantage and greater vulnerability, by not having the tools cognitive or attitudinal to defend their feminine condition or the rights that it involves.
